Returning to work

Take a practical step back into work.

Returning after a career break or looking for a fresh start? Build confidence with focused training, explore course combinations and get help choosing a practical next step. Employment providers can discuss coordinated participant training.

Make your next step count.

  1. Start with your goal

Choose a work goal and check which skills or credentials it requires. Consider whether you need a new course, updated practical skills or a different industry direction.

  2. Choose a suitable course

If you work with an employment provider, confirm course approval, payment and booking arrangements with them before enrolling. Any support depends on the provider and your circumstances.

  3. Make a practical plan

Read the entry requirements and prepare for the selected course. Ask Catch about dates, venue access and course preparation if you need guidance before booking.

Questions before you book.

Where should I start if I am unsure which course to take?

Think about the jobs you want to explore and the credentials employers request. Compare Catch course options or contact the team with your goals and any previous training.

Can my employment provider arrange training?

Employment providers can discuss participant course requirements, group numbers, timing and billing with Catch. Ask your provider to confirm approval and payment before you make a booking.

Does booking guarantee funding or satisfy my provider requirements?

No. A course booking does not confirm funding or provider approval. Check the proposed course and arrangements with your employment provider before enrolling.

Can a course guarantee that I will get a job?

No. Courses can build skills and provide the outcome described on the course page. Employment depends on employer requirements, your experience and other factors.

A little guidance can make the next step clearer.

Tell our team what you want to achieve and which courses you are considering. Catch Training has supported NSW learners and organisations since 2014, with training at listed centres and workplace group options by arrangement.

Training outcomes vary by course. Check whether your chosen course covers national units, regulator-specific training or non-accredited practical skills.
