
Course description: Most organisations and businesses that store, prepare, display, serve or dispose of food in NSW are required to have a qualified Food Safety Supervisor on their team. This is the course that you need to complete to become qualified as a Food Safety Supervisor in NSW. The course covers all the requirements of the NSW Food Authority Food Supervisor Training including the two units of competency (SITXFSA001 & SITXFSA002) as well as the extra focus on the safe handling of eggs, management of allergens and cleaning and sanitizing practices. As with all Catch courses the information is presented to you by an industry expert in an friendly, informative and enjoyable manner that will ensure you enjoy your experience with us and walk away with a thorough understanding of your new role as a Food Safety Supervisor. Course outcome: Catch training is an approved provider by the NSW Food Authority. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive a NSW Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) Certificate which is valid for five years as well a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment in SITXFSA001 – Use hygienic practices for food safety and SITXFSA002 – Participate in safe food handling practices.

Assessment requirements: To pass this Food Safety Supervisor course you will need to complete a written and practical assessment. However no pre-course revision is required as your Catch trainer will teach you everything you need to know on the day.
